The time has come for the next installment of BC and this month we are turning up the heat. Get ready for some booty shaking, bass breaking, mother F^*$ing foot stumping, partydjie jol YO!

With two available slots we looking for fresh, out of the city talent. Skills to yet be discovered. People with the a nak to blow speakers, turn heads, and make a crowd jump.

//

Demos will still be posted on the blog for you to vote on and we will gather this information on the closing date and work out the winners.

So again, we urge everyone to push and promote whoever they think deserves to win by casting a vote on whatever BC platform.

These are the rules::

//

1) Auditions end on the 21th of October.

2) Votes will be tallied and a final announcement will be made on the 22nd.

3) All demos must be submitted with a soundcloud account.

4) Demos performed off software need to be controlled by a MIDI device.

5) Any form of electronica is accepted.

6) You must be 18 or over to enter. We would still like to hear your mix regardless so don't hesitate to send it in if you are under 18.

BC bling edition is guaranteed to be nothing short of awesome. Our history of bringing up and helping Cape Towns youth in todays scene is a job worthy of its name. Already a handful of BC found talent are in constant supply in and around Cape Towns night clubs and venues, playing what they feel and gaining success as they move along.

\\and the winner is...//

After a month or so we have finally come to the end of the Brick City Black Edition auditions. With a record number of votes to date (270 + - ) we have great pleasure announcing our two finalists to our stage tomorrow night. But before we get to that, we must take a look to all who submitted work to our inbox over the past month and say thank you. There was also a neck and neck tie between two artists, but due to breach of rules, we are forced to choose only one as the other is off under age.

Tomorrow is an hour away and by the sounds of it, its going to be a banger.

With only two days before announcing the winners to this weeks Brick City, we are still receiving mixtapes, production and millions of votes. Have to say this months BC is in a league of its own. We have not to date received such positive feedback as we have till now. We are twitching in the eye balls to how manic this coming Friday is gonna be. So before we blow some speakers, I'm leaving you with one last demo submitted a day ago.

Looking on the Brick City event page, there are a few votes cast towards one particular cat going by the name of 'Dublusion'. There is a mystery going around as to why there are a handful of votes towards him as some cant seem to find his work.

To clear this up, the demo was submitted on the FB page awhile ago. It is hidden under all the votes and is sitting at the back of the line. This is why we urge people to submit work to our email so situations like this can be avoided.
